The Inter-county Masters Finals took place in Peterborough this weekend with three Herts teams due to compete.
The Ladies O40s and Mens O55 were competing, unfortunately the Ladies O50’s team had to withdraw due to injuries and illness.
The Ladies O40 team of Louisa Dalwood, Mhairi Gritz and Libby Montgomery played their hearts out in the three matches losing to Kent 2-1, beating Surrey 2-1 and beating Warwickshire 3-0. The team won on count-back with 28 points winning by 2 points. Fantastic achievement, well done ladies.
The Mens O55 team of Eamonn Price, Gary Raw, Teejay Sogunro, Las Fernando, Martin White & Gehan Fernando, beat Berkshire 4-1, beat Cheshire 4-1, and beat Beds 3-2 in a thrilling last match. They retain their title another year, another great achievement!
