This information is provided by Herts Sports Partnership and give details of different funding schemes currently available for sport in Hertfordshire.

SPORTIVATE PROGRAMME
- Coaching sessions for 11-25 year olds that lead onto joining club
- 6-8 hours of coaching at club or other venue, funding for coaching and venue hire
- Opportunities for activity October – March 2016 – deadline August

SATELLITE CLUBS PROGRAMME
- Opportunity for Clubs to develop range of activities on a secondary school site
- Activities for 11-25 year olds out of school hours
- Funding available for coach payments
- Previous discussions on links between Berkhamstead SC and Ashlyns

LEISURE OPERATORS PILOT SCHEME
- HSP supporting the Pilot Scheme following set up HSV Squash Leagues
- HSP to promote all squash activities in Leisure Operators to Workplace Challenge audience and via social media

COACH DEVELOPMENT
- Regular Safeguarding & First Aid courses run for coaches & volunteers

- Funding available from April 2015 based on local needs of squash and to support Sport England programmes such as Sportivate/Satellite Clubs
- Coaches must live or coach in Herts and have completed the Coachmark process

- ‘One Stop Shop’ for club support covering Online modules, Workshops & Mentoring
- Club Matters website also hosts all generic Clubmark information and templates
- Herts Club Development Workshop programme to be set up from September 2015

‘JOIN IN HERTFORDSHIRE’ VOLUNTEERING NETWORK
- ‘Join ln’ connects local sports clubs and events with volunteers
- Volunteers encouraged to register with ‘Join In’
- Coordinators being appointed for each Herts Local Authority District

FACILITY FUNDING – INSPIRED FACILITIES – £20,000 to £75,000
- Sport England Funding for capital projects by Clubs and community organisations
- Clubs can apply for £20,000 to £75,000
- Focus on new/upgrading of facilities. Catalogue of work and equipment available.
- Over £1.6m granted to Herts Sports Clubs so far
- Next round of applications ends 2nd Jan 2016

- Local Authority Community Grants and Herts County Councillor Locality Budget (Each County Councillor has £10,000 pa for community groups) are best funding sources if less than £3,000 needed
